DOWN SYNDROME portrait.
We observed the project set up by Aleja Bielany Aleja Bielany (@aleja.bielany) and Fundacja Kolorowe Skarpetki @fundacja_kolorowe_skarpetki. We were astonished how many people responded after World Down Syndrome Day the 21st of March. Local people collected socks to support Down Syndrome people in their day as many as more than 13 000 . Then it turned out that it was great material to create a portrait of Down Syndrom person made from more than 11 000 of them. Behind the idea was a great person Matylda Sałajewska.

Today, we see the genius work personally. Built from pixels-socks, the huge Down Syndrome person portrait, 4 m X 2,5 m looks great!
Standing near by we saw the German family reaction amazed by the effect. Talking about it with them was a great moment confirming how unsual it is, how great it is. Amazing, simply amazing!
